NWD Youth Ministry Network
A new youth ministry effort is taking shape in the North Wisconsin District. It’s called the NWD Youth Ministry Network! The NWD Youth Ministry Network came about through the work of the Youth Ministry Task Force over several months. That task force interviewed youth leaders, congregation representatives, and other districts of the LCMS to formulate a plan for youth ministry in North Wisconsin. It was their unanimous recommendation that Youth Ministry in NWD should focus primarily on supporting and encouraging lay and professional youth workers in our congregations. It is through serving them that we serve the youth of our congregations. They developed the following purpose statement:
The purpose of the NWD Youth Ministry Network is to promote care, share resources, and facilitate communication between youth leaders for the strengthening of youth ministry in the North Wisconsin District.
