Serving Sawyer Servant Event
June 15-20, 2008
Cost: $220

Age:  Grades 9-12

Participants will travel to the impoverished community of Sawyer, located on an abandoned Air Force base in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Once there, participants will provide a VBS program for younger children in the area, and nightly youth activities for those in Jr. and Sr. High. Participants will also serve the community by completing much-needed construction projects that will help make Sawyer a cleaner and safer place to live.

Ministry to Native American Children
July 6-11, 2008
Cost: $220
Age:  Grades 9-12

Servants will provide a 3-day VBS program for Native American children from nearby reservations. Trained to be counselors, participants will be responsible for leading activities and sharing the Word of God in this unique setting. Participants will travel to one nearby reservation to observe first-hand this fascinating culture, as well as develop close relationships with the Native American children.
