2008 Quilt Auction

This coming summer, Camp Luther is introducing an exciting new opportunity to support its ministry to the children and families of the North Wisconsin District. On July 26, 2008, Camp Luther will be hosting its first ever QUILT AUCTION. All proceeds will be used to support Camp Luther in its goal to build up the body of Christ through programs for all ages.

A committee is already hard at work planning the many details for this event. However, we do need help with one thing at this time: making quilts! We are asking for any LWML group, quilting guild or individual interested in donating their time and talents to donate a quilt to the Camp Luther Quilt Auction. It is our goal to auction off at least 100 quilts!

What kind of quilts are we asking for? We are looking for new quilts of any size, pattern, color and quality. Table runners, wall-hangings and baby quilts are also great items that people love to bid on.

Should you choose to participate by donating a quilt, we ask that you send it to Camp Luther no later than June 1. Please fill out a Quilt Information Sheet (download here) so that we can easily catalog and accurately display your quilt. Once that is done, we invite you to join us on July 26 to see how your donation of time and talent directly benefits the ministry of Camp Luther.
